If I could I would live in them forever. It’s my favourite piece of clothing at the moment. You can wear it to practically anywhere if styled the right way. Plus, it suits all body types which is AWESOME!
So, I was given an assignment in college to design anything I wanted and since I am so in love with midi skirts I couldn’t wait to add one to my closet. And when along came this assignment, I thought to myself ‘hey, why not just design one by myself?” Best thought I had in a long time! The next thing I know, I was running all around Bangalore searching for the right fabrics. I finally found this beautiful threaded embroidered cloth which was perfect for my crop top. The skirt fabric was easy to find since I already knew what I wanted. I love raw silk and I thought it would be the perfect fabric for the skirt.
Coming to the styling bit, I decided to keep my accessories minimal and let the outfit do all the talking. I wore an ear cuff and a pearl studded bracelet. I’m also
wearing a white silicon strapped watch which goes perfectly with the outfit. I think midi skirts are best styled with heels. You could also wear this outfit
with flats, but heels are definitely a better option.
My apologies for not having taken detailed shots of the outfit, from my next post I will try to take detailed shots so that you guys can get a better view of my outfit. As you can see, this is my first shoot and first post so suggestions or comments are welcome.
